CCIJ Information Session
The presentation about CCIJ’s work and mission will be held on Thursday Dec 15th from 7pm to 9pm (Eastern Time), presented by Matt Eisenbrandt, CCIJ Legal Director and Jayne Stoyles, CCIJ Executive Director, via WebEx.

Program of the session:
7pm-7.40pm: CCIJ’s program work
Matt Eisenbrandt will provide an orientation to the different aspects of CCIJ’s program work. He will discuss CCIJ’s casework, policy initiatives, and outreach and education activities. In particular, Matt will describe the cases in which CCIJ is involved and the parameters of CCIJ’s mandate. The presentation will include an overview of the international justice system and Canadian law regarding torture, war crimes and genocide.
7.45pm-8pm: Period of questions.
8pm-8.40pm: CCIJ’s policy and law reform initiatives
Jayne Stoyles will present CCIJ’s policy and law reform initiatives; new projects (ICC Legal Tools, international conference, technical assistance project in Burundi, ICC Working Papers); and the education and training program. She will also give an update on internal issues such as our current and potential sources of funding, and expectations for staffing levels in 2012.
