Executive Director (part-time)

About CCIJ: CCIJ envisions a world where human rights violators are held accountable and survivors of atrocities find healing through justice. As a charitable organization that supports and assists people seeking justice for serious human rights violations, CCIJ also engages with Canadians through education and awareness programming. CCIJ is a small, dynamic organization with a range of existing programming and programming in development.

About you: As the ideal candidate, you are committed to social justice. You have held a leadership role in a small to medium size not-for-profit organization and have demonstrated experience and success in fund/resource development, including development of relations with funders and charitable foundations. You are comfortable working in a collaborative, small workplace environment that offers opportunities for growth. This is a challenging and rewarding position in a dynamic field, with job flexibility and opportunities for growth.

About the position: This is a part time (0.8) position based on a four-day work week, working on average thirty hours per week. Compensation is $45,000-$55,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus 10% in lieu of benefits.
