We are recruiting the following positions for our new Community Engagement in International Justice project, which is an access to justice program for refugee and immigrant communities across Canada that have been affected by international human rights abuses such as genocide, torture and crimes against humanity. It will foster bidirectional engagement in access to justice efforts that affect many Canadian diaspora communities. This project and the following positions were made possible by a generous grant from the Law Foundation of Ontario.

Legal Coordinator

The Legal Coordinator’s primary objective will be to support CCIJ’s legal staff in both the multimedia outreach and legal education components of our Community Engagement in International Justice project. The Legal Coordinator will organise outreach and educational efforts with communities affected by mass atrocities, informing them of the justice options that may be available and how they can become involved in supporting justice initiatives that may relate to their personal circumstances or those of their community as a whole. For more details about this position, please consult the posting below.

Digital Outreach Coordinator

The primary role of the Digital Outreach Coordinator will be the management of the CCIJ website and online platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), with an emphasis on our Community Engagement with International Justice project. They will also be in charge of all creative design tasks related to communications, outreach, and digital media as it relates to promoting and publicising the project, and CCIJ clients more generally. For more details about this position, please consult the posting below.
